RYAN KIELY – TANIWHA

Headshot.Ryan

Kia Ora, my name is Ryan Kiely and I teach in the Taniwha classroom. This is my first year of teaching and I couldn’t imagine a better place to be doing it. I grew up in Hamilton, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences and a Masters of Teaching and Learning. Outside of education, my interests are hiking, motorcycles, and tinkering away in the shed. I believe learning is an active process that takes place inside and outside of the four walls of a classroom. My vision is to be a positive force for change in the lives of my tamariki, supporting them to find the tools and motivation that enable them to pursue their passion.
