We have been learning about Haiku Poetry. Here is what we found out:
– It is from Japan
– It has three lines that are determined on the number of syllables. The first line has 5, the second has 7 and the last has 5.
– The words used in a Haiku are ‘Sensory Words’ – these are words used to describe our senses
– The poem must be inspiring!!
