NZ mining should be allowed

 My first reason is mining for resources like crystal and gold can be good for NZ.  They can be used for bracelets and necklaces. Bracelets and necklaces can be sent to other countries to be sold.

My next reason is mining offers jobs to people in the far north.  If people are working they can support their families by feeding them, sending the children to school and buying clothes and toys for kids.

Mining makes New Zealand heaps of money so why not allow mining in New Zealand.
